Emerging Leadership Council (ELC)

Who We Are

The Emerging Leadership Council (ELC) for the CFC of the National Capital Area is working to ensure long-term sustainability of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) by connecting the next generation of the Federal workforce to the charitable causes they care about. ELC believes that through collaboration across the Federal community and through commitment to service and giving back, we can make a difference for those in need through the CFC.

Our MISSION is to engage and develop emerging leaders within the federal workforce through the Combined Federal Campaign.

Our VISION is a sustained federal workforce of compassionate leaders.


What We Do

  • Plan events to connect the federal community with the positive outcomes of the CFC.
  • Collaborate with the CFCNCA on strategies to engage the next generation of federal employees in the CFC.
  • Provide opportunities for emerging federal employees to gain practical leadership experience.
  • Participate in agency campaign events to celebrate and inspire a federal community of generosity.
