Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Announced as Honorary CFC Chair

We are pleased to announce that Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton is the 2009 honorary chair of the national Combined Federal Campaign.

"In my prior work as First Lady and as Senator, and now as Secretary of State, I have seen communities on every continent bound by poverty, crippled by hunger, and plagued by treatable illnesses," said Secretary Clinton. "At the same time I have witnessed firsthand the incredible capacity charitable organizations possess to combat these challenges and make a real difference in the lives of people and communities across the globe.  By making a contribution to the CFC, you are giving charitable organizations the precious resources they need to help make lasting progress toward their missions."
