The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) held a book signing to help raise money for this year's Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).  Lynn Spencer, a pilot and an Aviation Safety Specialist with Joint Venture Solutions (JVS) which supports the FAA's Air Traffic Organization's System Operations Safety Management System was on hand to sign copies of her book "Touching History: The Untold Story of the Drama that Unfolded in the Skies over America on 9/11".  The book details the events of the Sept. 11 saga from an aviation/ATC perspective that was gleaned from three years of interviews and research by the author.

The book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, generously donated 200 copies and Ms. Spencer signed and dedicated books at a suggested donation price of $25.  Thus far, the book sales have raised approximately $4,000 towards this year's CFC.
