e-Giving Tools

Details

We expanded your giving options to make donating easier and more flexible. In addition to using the traditional paper Pledge Form you received from your CFC Keyworker, you now have online options available with e-Giving. Your choices include:

  • Online Charity Search - This is your first step when making a pledge. You can review charities using a search-only tool or through the e-Giving process. Search by name, keyword, location and more to make an informed choice of where you want to direct your gift. Once you have made your selections, designate the amounts the charities should receive as part of the e-Giving process (or on your paper Pledge Form if you're using the traditional paper method).
  • e-Giving* - This option includes online charity searching and online pledging for payroll, check or cash donations, which is then printed and submitted to your Keyworker. Plus, there is a new paperless e-Giving option for credit/debit card or e-Check (electronic bank transfer) donations. Giving online reduces costs and saves you time. Review the e-Giving fact sheet for details.
  • e-Pledge Paperless Payroll Donation - Make your payroll deduction pledges in a secure method that eliminates the need to print your Pledge Form through the following participating agencies: 

Remember, if you use e-Giving for payroll, check or cash donations, you will need to print the form, include it in an envelope with your donation (if cash or check) and submit to your Keyworker for processing. Easy to follow instructions are provided during the process.

Technical Issues?

If you experience any technical difficulties during your e-Giving session, please be sure to try the following:

  1. Clear your browser's cache, deleting all temporary files and cookies.
  2. Close all other open web browser windows and tabs.
  3. Once you start the e-Giving process, do not use any other programs until you are finished pledging (e.g., do not check e-mail).
  4. If using Internet Explorer, try using a different web browser if possible, such as Firefox.
  5. Switch to another computer that is known to work with the e-Giving system.
  6. If this does not solve the problem, it may indicate that your agency's network configuration needs to be adjusted to allow connections to the e-Giving system. Please have an IT representative from your agency contact us, and in the meantime you may want to consider trying your online pledge session from outside your agency's network (e.g., from home).

Please note: If you are unable to complete an online pledge due to technical problems, please send a report to the webmaster so we can better diagnose and resolve the issue. Please be sure to include: 1) exact time the error occurred, 2) location of the page where the error occurred (you can copy the URL from the address bar at the top of your browser), and 3) error message that appears on your screen, if any.
