[Top]Deputy Director: James FrancavillaJames joins us from First Book where he was the Senior Vice President for Program Strategy and Community Development. Previously, he spent 12 years with T. Rowe Price in a variety of management and operational positions including Vice President, Senior Project Manager, and Vice President, Director of Client Administration. James has a B.S. in Marketing from St. John's University and an MBA in Global Management from the Sperling School of Business at the University of Phoenix. Director, Charity Relations: Edith L. Parrish
Edith earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from North Carolina A&T University, bachelor's and master of theology from Almeda University and has taken graduate courses at the USDA Graduate School and Liberty Baptist University. In addition to her professional fundraising career, Edith is an ordained Minister, certified Evangelism instructor and Music Director and serves as President of the Montgomery County Music Convention. She conducts leadership training across the area and is a member of the National Society for Professional Female Executives. Edith also is a published poet and is recognized by the International Society of Poets. Campaign Director: George Young
As National Field Director, George served Neighbors Who Care, a crime victim assistance program, moving the organization from 12 to 20 community based organizations in large urban areas across the U.S. Prior to joining the Combined Federal Campaign team in 2003, he served as Executive Director of the Washington, D.C./Virginia Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. George is a member of various community related committees and boards and is presently serving as a volunteer with the MBC Career Network to assist persons in career transition. He has a Bachelor's degree from Averett University in Business Administration. Associate DirectorsThe Associate Directors are responsible for developing campaign strategy, setting campaign goals, recruiting and training loaned executives and campaign volunteers and achieving targeted campaign results. Annece represented both organizations in the Combined Federal Campaign – American Red Cross and the Girl Scouts of the USA. During Annece’s years at the American Red Cross, CFC contributions rose from $3 million in 1998 to $7.2 million in the 2004 campaign. Also, from 1997 – 2005 she served on the National CFC Committee on local support projects, including the design and coordination of the 2005 and 2006 annual videos. For fun, Annece is Marketing VP for a non-profit that is an all-volunteer membership organization; each year she performs Washington's only original, political, satirical, musical, comedy revue to sold-out audiences and has contributed more than $3 million to 40+ Washington area charities.
Associate Director: Henry Rubin
Henry earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and MBA in Personnel and Labor Relations from the University of Maryland. Outside interests include playing saxophone in the Rockville Jazz Band and Montgomery Wind Ensemble. Campaign Associate: Kimberly Phillips
Kim joined CFCNCA in August of 2009 as a Campaign Associate partnering with assigned Loaned Executives to facilitate campaign activities in various federal agencies, which include over 5,500 federal employees. Before joining the CFCNCA staff, Kim worked for a number of other non-profit organizations including Pew Charitable Trusts, Population Services International, and The Nature Conservancy completing projects which included fundraising, research, communications and outreach, and working on environmental policies and legislation.

George has been involved in non-profit development for over 25 years, working 15 years with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), where he started in the MDA Philadelphia District in 1981 and was then promoted to the Washington , D.C. District in 1983. George coordinated the annual MDA Jerry Lewis Telethon in the Mid-Atlantic's top television markets, and finished his career with MDA in 1996 as a Regional Coordinator and Director of Special Gifts. He worked as General Manager for a satellite video conference organization delivering live educational and medical programs around the world.
Annece has been involved in non-profit management since 1987, training boards in fundraising and governance issues and assisting associations in marketing and non membership revenue. She especially enjoys organizing and spiriting the cause of workplace giving campaigns. She organized the first internal campaigns for employees to give to GSUSA and the American Red Cross.
Henry joined the CFCNCA on August 6, 2007. He recently retired from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission after 34 years of Federal government service. His responsibilities included serving as the agency manager for the Combined Federal Campaign for the past 15 years. He also managed the professional recruitment program and recruitment advertising program for the NRC, managing a budget of over $1,000,000. In addition, he coordinated the NRC Annual Awards Ceremony that was normally attended by 1,000 employees. Other significant assignments included serving as President of the Employees Welfare Recreation Association and President, Board of Directors, for the NRC Fitness Center.
Maya has been with CFCNCA for 2+ years formerly serving as Help Desk Coordinator. As of August of 2009 she assumed the role of a Campaign Associate partnering with assigned Loaned Executives to facilitate campaign activities in various federal agencies, which include over 5,500 federal employees. Maya graduated from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish. She has spent numerous hours volunteering and tutoring children in inner city schools and suburbs and is currently volunteering to help middle eastern refugees adapt to life in the United States.
