The CFCNCA is fortunate to have the support of more than 35,0000 volunteers within the Federal government helping to coordinate campaign awareness activities. These volunteers have terrific ideas and suggestions listed below that may be useful throughout the campaign season.
Get ideas from the 2010 CFCNCA Campaign Contest winners!
Communications
- Highlight CFCNCA on home agency pages and link to www.cfcnca.org
- Include photos of employees and event(s) on Intranet
- Highlight Keyworker(s) on Intranet so potential donors know who is representing the campaign in their agency
- Email daily inspirational stories and campaign goal updates
- Provide a spare change jar at the receptionist desk or high traffic areas titled "CFCNCA Coins for Caring" (all proceeds go to the special events fund)
Events
- Send out CFCNCA reminders on pay day
- Start countdown activities
- Encourage competition in office(s)
- Place CFCNCA pledge tables in high traffic areas
- Plan fun events like pizza parties, chili cook-offs, bake sales, jewelry fairs, talent shows, raffles and BINGO
Leadership Support
- Request Leadership send out e-mails encouraging CFCNCA participation (provide weekly status reports on campaign progress that can be incorporated in the message)
- Request CFCNCA discussion at Senior Executive staff meetings outlining reporting unit tally
- Request Leadership sign CFCNCA Thank You Cards to Eagle and Double Eagle donors
- Request Leadership take photos with contributors as appropriate
